THE AFRICAN WOMEN IN SPORTS SYMPOSIUM

The African women in sports symposium is a platform that seeks to empower women whose orientation is sports through forums, trainings, partnerships and networks. The platform’ vision is to register as an association in order to achieve these objectives:

• Promote women’s access to the sports sector through education, training & career opportunities
• To lobby for increasing the percentage of women at the senior management level within the maritime sector

• Enhance the inclusion of women in the sports sector through partnership and collaboration with development partners on the continent and world wide
• Promote co-operation, friendship & understanding through the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of information
